Upon the invitation of Al-Liqa’ Center a gathering was held on 5 September 2006 at 5:30 p.m. in Bethlehem Hotel for the purpose of condemning Israeli aggression against Palestine and Lebanon

Program

• An address by Dr. Geries S. Khoury, Director of Al-Liqa’ Center.

• An address by H.B. Michael Sabbah, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem and President of Al-Liqa’ Center’s Board of Trustees.

• An address by His Eminence Sheikh Tayseer Al-Tamimi,  the Chief Islamic Judge in Palestine.

• Invocation

  • His Eminence Bishop Munib Younan, the Lutheran Bishop of Palestine and Jordan

  • Dr. ‘Abd Al-Rahman ‘Abbad, Official Spokesman of Muslim Ulama’ and Preachers in Palestine

• Reading of the Final Communiqué of the gathering: Professor Thaib Ayyoush, Vice President of Al-Liqa’ Center’s Board of Trustees.
