An Italian group from different Italian cities visited the Center on 25-8-2011. the group visit aimed to know about Al-Liqa’ Center’s programs and activities.

Dr. Khoury met the group and explained to them the reasons behind the foundation of the center and its programs and he stressed the importance of the Arab Christian Muslim dialogue and the Palestinian contextual Theology programs. In addition, Dr. Khoury spoke about the daily life of the Palestinians in general and those who are living in Bethlehem area in particular. He pointed out the many difficulties and challenges which the Palestinians are facing in their daily life. And when the group asked him: “What can we do for you?” Dr. Khoury answers was: “your governments have to put pressure on the Israeli government to reach peaceful solution to the Palestinian Israeli struggle which will end only by the creation of the Palestinian State on the Palestinian Land which was occupied in 1967 and Jerusalem will be its eternal capital.
