Al-Liqa' Center for Religious and Heritage Studies in the
Holy land, with all its Muslim and Christian members,
condemns the repeated publication of the cartoons/drawings
which insult the person of the Prophet Muhammad.
These publications are seen as determination by some to
spread unrest throughout the world. These unfortunate
developments are taking place at a time when the much needed
interfaith dialogue and respect for the other must be
stressed and highlighted.
These newspapers which claim freedom of speech, on the
contrary, are aggressing against the freedom of worship and
belief. |
